Dr. Julie Thies

Dr. Julie Thies has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr. Julie most recently worked at Ellab - Validation & Monitoring Solutions as the Vice President of Finance & HR. Prior to that, they held a role as a Finance Business Partner at the same company. Dr. Thies also worked as a Lecturer at FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management and as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at Universität Bremen. Dr. Julie gained practical experience as a Working Student at BDO Germany and as an Intern in auditing and audit-related services at the same company. Additionally, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at Universität Bremen and held intern positions in controlling at quick-mix Holding GmbH & Co. KG. Dr. Julie began their career as an Intern in administration at Sievert Concrete Precast Elements Co. Ltd.

Dr. Julie Thies holds a M. Sc. degree in Business Administration from the University of Bremen, which they completed from 2011 to 2017. In 2015, they also pursued studies in Business Administration at Universitas Udayana (UNUD) in Bali, Indonesia. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they underwent training as an industrial clerk at Sievert SE. Additionally, they have obtained certification as a Business Coach from IHK Osnabrück - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim in 2022.
