Abu Noaman began their work experience in 1985 as a Software Developer for Research Projects at Carnegie Mellon University. In this role, they built compilers and systems software for supercomputers used in various fields such as machine learning, driverless vehicles, speech recognition, image processing, and seismic analysis. Additionally, Abu served as a technical liaison between teams at Carnegie Mellon and its corporate partners, GE and Intel. In 1991, they joined Elliance, Inc. as the CEO, and their tenure in this position is ongoing.
Abu Noaman completed their MBA in Entrepreneurship & Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, studying from 1981 to 1985. Their earliest recorded educational experience was at Karachi Grammar School from 1977 to 1981, although the degree name and field of study are not specified.
