Shelby Hickey

Shelby Hickey is a Senior Physiotherapist at The Wellington Hospital since October 2023, specializing in traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Concurrently, Shelby has been working as a travel physical therapist with Jackson Therapy Partners since September 2022 and has experience with Elliott Physical Therapy since June 2022. Previous roles include Clinical Student positions at JumpStart Physical Therapy, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Life Care Centers of America, as well as earlier work as a Patient Service Representative and Medical Assistant at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Beginning the journey in healthcare as a Rehab Nurse Tech at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, Shelby earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University in 2017. Continuing education includes a certification as a Physical Therapy Aide from the University of New Mexico in 2018.
