Jp Murray

JP Murray has over 35 years of work experience in the technology field. JP'smost recent role was as the Director of IT Operations at Ellis Island Casino & Brewery/Village Pubs, where they have been employed since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the I.T. Customer Support Supervisor at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) from 2014 to 2018, overseeing information technology operations and ensuring data security and confidentiality. Before joining UMC, they worked at Agilysys as a Level III Technical Analyst and TSR II from 2011 to 2014, providing technical support and project management for customers. Earlier in their career, JP was the Point of Sale & Hotel Systems Support Analyst at mgmmirage from 2006 to 2011 and a Systems Engineer at Station Casinos from 2003 to 2006. JP began their career in 1983 as a U.S. Coast Guard Radioman, responsible for the operation and maintenance of Microsoft Windows NT 4 systems.

JP Murray completed the Coast Guard Instructor Course in 1997, earning a certification as an instructor in the field of instruction. In 1991, they obtained a certification as a Regional Systems Manager, specializing in computer systems.
