R.J. Miller

As Director of Legal Services & Innovation, R.J. plays a leading role in helping Ellis Porter deliver innovative, client-centered immigration services leveraging our first-in-the-industry Immigration Experience Management (IXM) technology platform and service philosophy.

Prior to joining Ellis Porter, R.J. worked as corporate immigration counsel for multiple international companies in the information technology (IT) solutions and managed service sectors. He utilizes his broad experience in operations to keep client needs at the core of everything we do.

R.J. has hands-on experience as both an internal business-side user of immigration services, as well as a legal service provider in the end-to-end administration of corporate immigration programs. In fact, R.J. was first introduced to immigration law as a corporate client of Ellis Porter. He is uniquely able to partner with HR teams, operational business units and corporate service departments to effectively develop legal service delivery and compliance programs for our clients using technology and process engineering.

In his free time, R.J. enjoys trying new cuisines, traveling with his wife, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his family.
