Priscilla Walton

Priscilla Walton is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the charter school sector. Since October 2016, Priscilla has served as the Founder and Executive Director of Elm Community Charter School, while also holding the position of Founder and Principal. Prior to this role, Priscilla was the Dean of Instruction at Central Queens Academy from July 2015 to July 2016 and worked as an English Language Arts Teacher at Central Queens Academy Charter School from August 2013 to July 2015. Priscilla's earlier experience includes roles as Assistant Principal and Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools from July 2009 to July 2013 and as a Lead Teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools from August 2007 to August 2009. Priscilla holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Master of Education focused on At-Risk Students, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Goucher College.
