Ellie Darton-Moore

Ellie Darton-Moore is a seasoned museum professional with extensive experience in managing collections and exhibitions. Currently serving as Museum Manager at Elmbridge Borough Council since October 2019, Ellie successfully secured significant funding for the development of a new collections store and a website overhaul that increased public engagement. Previously, as Museum and Collections Manager at the Charterhouse, Ellie managed the launch of a new museum in London, achieving major visitor milestones and awards, including Arts Council Accreditation. Early career roles include Executive Exhibitions Project Officer at the National Portrait Gallery, where Ellie contributed to the planning of high-profile exhibitions, and Assistant Curator at Imperial College Healthcare Charity, coordinating art projects for hospital environments. Ellie holds a Master's Degree in Museum Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Ancient History and History from the University of Leicester.
