Efrem Reid

Efrem Reid has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Efrem most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Elme Communities. Prior to that, they held the same position at Akridge for one year. From 2008 to 2022, they worked at Paradigm Companies as the Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing and managing the HR department. Before that, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Consultant at Children's National Medical Center from 2006 to 2008. Efrem also served as a Regional HR Manager at AvalonBay Communities from 2004 to 2006 and as a District HR Manager at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago from 2001 to 2004. Efrem started their HR career as a Human Resources Manager at HA-LO Branded Solutions from 1999 to 2001 and as a Benefits Specialist at Morton's Restaurant Group from 1996 to 1998.

Efrem Reid has a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Business Law from Loyola University Chicago. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to their academic qualifications, Efrem has obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in April 2019.
