Emily Beckwith

Emily Beckwith serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Elmwood Franklin School, where responsibilities include implementing initiatives and policies to foster an inclusive environment for students and community members while collaborating with faculty to integrate social identifiers into the curriculum. Previous roles at Elmwood Franklin School include Dean of Students and Athletic Director, focusing on the organization and facilitation of interscholastic athletic teams. Additionally, Emily has coaching experience with Nichols School and teaching backgrounds in physical education at TEAM SUCCESS A SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE INC, Horizons Greater Washington, and Maret School. Educational qualifications comprise a C.A.S. in School Building Leader and School District Leader from Buffalo State University, a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and a Master of Science in Adapted Physical Education from SUNY Brockport.
