James Sheard

James Sheard has diverse work experience in the hospitality and customer service industry. James started their career at Saddlebrook Equestrian Center as a Barn Hand in 2014. Later, they joined Elmwood Park Zoo, where they progressed from being a Guest Service Representative to becoming a Guest Services Manager and Membership Coordinator. Currently, James holds the position of Assistant Director of the Guest Experience at Elmwood Park Zoo. Their expertise includes overseeing guest services, membership management, retail operations, and staff scheduling. James is skilled in various point of sales systems and is focused on creating a growth mindset within the workplace.

James Sheard completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania during the period of 2014 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualification, they also obtained a certification in Animal Welfare Professional from San Diego Zoo Global Academy in October 2020.
