Kaitlyn Olsen

Kaitlyn Olsen possesses extensive experience in animal care and conservation, currently serving as the Assistant Curator of Behavioral Husbandry & Conservation at Elmwood Park Zoo since August 2012. Prior roles at Elmwood Park Zoo include Senior Animal Keeper and Animal Keeper. Kaitlyn's background includes serving as Senior Kennel Staff at DogTown from November 2015 to July 2021, and earlier positions such as Interactive Exhibit Keeper at Lehigh Valley Zoological Society, Animal Care Technician with the Seal Rescue Team at New York Marine Rescue Center, and Pet Care Associate at Franklin Pet Center. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Animal Biotechnology and Wildlife Conservation from Delaware Valley University, earned between 2008 and 2012.
