Rebecca Alpuche

Rebecca Alpuche is an experienced zookeeper and wildlife volunteer with a background in conservation and wildlife management. Currently serving as a zookeeper at Elmwood Park Zoo since September 2021, Rebecca has also held zookeeper roles at Zoo New England from 2018 to 2021, where responsibilities included temporary positions at both Stone Zoo and Franklin Park Zoo. Prior experience includes wildlife volunteer work at Green Chimneys since August 2017, focusing on birds of prey, as well as internships at the Tropical Forest and Children's Zoo. Rebecca holds a Bachelor's degree in conservation and wildlife management from Delaware Valley University, earned between 2013 and 2017.
