Theo Becker

Theo Becker began his career in 1976 with Adlerwerke AG and worked there until the year 1981. He then moved to Schneider GmbH, where he worked as a tool maker until 1982 and as assistant to the works manager until 1983. From 1983 to 1994, Theo Becker held various positions with Black & Decker. He joined Elring Klinger GmbH shortly after the merger of Elring and Klinger in December 1994. From 1994 to 1998, Theo Becker worked at the Runkel plant as production manager and in 1998 as works manager. From 1998 to 2005 he initially assumed responsibility for running the Shielding Technology division and later added the Specialty Gaskets division to his management portfolio. Theo Becker was appointed to the Management Board of ElringKlinger AG as Chief Operating Officer in January 2006. Between 2006 and March 2018 he was responsible for the Cylinder-head Gaskets, Specialty Gaskets, Lightweighting/ Elastomer Technology, Shielding Technology, E-Mobility, Exhaust Gas Purification, Tooling Technology, and New Business Areas divisions as well as the corporate functions Quality and Environment, Materials Management, and ElringKlinger AG Plants. Since April 1, 2018, Theo Becker oversees the newly created Management Board function of E-Mobility.
