Keith Copenhagen attended UC San Diego from 1977 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. In 1983 and 1984, they studied at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on Computer Architecture but did not obtain a degree. Later, from 1987 to 1989, they pursued a Project Management Certification through the University of California, Santa Cruz's Extension program.
