Barbara Cox

Barbara Cox is an experienced educator specializing in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and English for Academic Purposes. Since January 2014, Barbara has served as an instructor at ELS Educational Services, Inc., where responsibilities include teaching, writing tests, grading, and tutoring students for TOEFL and IELTS exams. Prior to this role, Barbara spent nearly a decade as an ESOL instructor at Broward Community School South. Additional instructional roles have been held at Lingua International, Oakton Community College, Springfield Technical Community College, and Centro Colombo Americano. Barbara holds a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
