Assaf Bentabou

Assaf Bentabou has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and information technology security. Assaf started their career as a Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst in the IDF, Ofek Unit, Israeli Air Force, where they were responsible for Windows Server administration and policy management of various security products. Assaf then worked as a System Administrator in a local municipality, followed by a role as an Information Technology Security Analyst at Israel Post, where they implemented and configured security systems.

Assaf gained experience as a Software Developer in the IDF, AMAN Research Department, where they designed research-oriented Python applications and automated data gathering processes. Assaf also worked as a System Administrator at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

In their most recent role as a Software Engineer at Intelici, Assaf was involved in developing a system to identify malware and managing large volumes of data through an ETL pipeline. Assaf was responsible for writing antivirus scanning and tagging mechanisms.
