Doug Wright

Doug Wright is President and CEO of Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT), a business group that creates products, software and technologies found in more than 10 million buildings worldwide to help keep these facilities safe, energy efficient, sustainable and productive. Previously, Doug served as President of the global Fire & Security businesses for Honeywell Building Technologies.

Prior to joining Honeywell, Doug was President and CEO of Source Photonics, a global provider of optical communication products used in telecommunication systems and data communication networks. Prior that, Doug spent six years at United Technologies, where he served as President of Asia for the company’s Fire and Security group, based in Shanghai, and President of the company’s $2.5 billion Automation and Controls Solutions business. Prior to United Technologies, Wright spent 15 years at Ingersoll Rand, where he served in a variety of leadership roles. Across his time at UTC and Ingersoll Rand, Doug worked for eight years in China.

Doug graduated with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina. He has been a licensed pilot since age 19.
