Dean Krestos has a strong background in shipbuilding and maritime programs. Dean worked at ELS, Inc. from 2011, starting as the Director of Maritime Programs and later being promoted to President & COO and then President & CEO. Prior to that, they worked at the U.S Navy as the Supervisor of Shipbuilding from 2006 to 2011, overseeing the execution of shipbuilding contracts worth over $20B. Before that, they were the Production Director at PEO SHIPS, PMS 501, where they were responsible for the construction and delivery of two first-class Littoral Combat Ships.
Dean Krestos has a diverse educational background that includes multiple degrees. Dean attended Miami University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Systems Analysis and Design. Later, from 1989 to 1991, Dean pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University at Buffalo, specializing in Accounting and Finance. During the same period, they also completed another MBA in Finance at the same institution. Their academic journey continued at the Naval Postgraduate School, where they obtained a Master of Science in Materials (MSME) from 1991 to 1993.
