Fabio Cavalli has a diverse work experience in the field of mechatronics and automotive engineering. Fabio started their career as a PhD Mechatronics - Electrical Engineer at CSPP - Mechatronic Laboratory, where they designed innovative electric actuators for mechatronic applications. Fabio then worked as a PhD Mechatronics - designer of hybrid powertrains at T.T.W. "Three Tilting Wheels" srl, focusing on the design of hybrid powertrains for an innovative vehicle.

Later on, Cavalli joined ACTUA srl as a Technical Project Manager, where they managed R&D projects related to hybrid and electric vehicles. Fabio was responsible for designing electric powertrains and motors, conducting prototype constructions, and performing tests on track and dyno.

Currently, Cavalli is employed at ELTEK Group as a Program Manager and Development Manager. Within the Business Unit Automotive, their team develops mechatronic products and sensors for automotive applications. Fabio supervises the design of components, manages the organization of the group, and ensures adherence to development milestones.

Throughout their career, Cavalli has demonstrated expertise in mechatronics, electric actuators, powertrains, and project management in the automotive industry.

Fabio Cavalli obtained their Licentiate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Alessandria in 1996. Fabio then pursued a Laurea in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 1996 to 2002. Following this, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2003 to 2006. To further advance their education, Fabio Cavalli earned another Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Ingegneria meccatronica, robotica e dell'automazione from Politecnico di Torino from 2004 to 2007.
