SDET

Responsibilities:

• Our SDET’s work with Product Managers and Dev Teams to understand features and technical implementation, and ensure industry-beating quality levels focusing on the testability, robustness, and performance of product.

• Test cutting edge Digital communication platform and AI applications

• Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools

• Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance

• Contribute and/or own the development of high quality test automation

• Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans/strategies for owned features.

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.

• Create and enhance automation tests and test tools

• Develop effective test cases that follow the automation design put in place.

• Add to performance, security and scalability testing efforts

• Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform

What you offer:

• 2 – 5 years of experience as Developer or SDET.

• Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies with strong attention to detail

• Passion for Programming in general & problem solving.

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

• Hands on coding in any programming language(Java, Go Preferrable)

• Good experience in UI & web services testing and automation

• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools, test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr Scale

• Experience with Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis

• Experience with one or more database technology or queuing technologies- Postgres, Mongo, Redis, RabbitMQ etc

• Good working experience in performance testing of distributed system

• Good working knowledge of Linux or Shell commands.

• Knowledge on the DevOps/ Kubernetes is a plus.
