Marily Nika, Ph.D

Marily Nika, Ph.D has held various roles in the tech industry since 2013. Marily has been a keynote speaker, delivering over 50 talks and workshops, and has been an instructor at Product School, O'Reilly Media, LinkedIn Learning, and Maven. In 2021, they accepted an Executive Fellowship at Harvard Business School, where they teach a course they created about Product Management & Strategy. Marily has also held roles at Google, ELVTR, and Meta, where they currently work as a Product Lead for Metaverse/Avatars & Identity. Most recently, they accepted a fellowship at On Deck.

Marily Nika, Ph.D has a comprehensive education history. Marily obtained a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Studies from University of Piraeus between 2006 and 2009. Marily then completed a Master of Science in Finance from University of Piraeus in 2010. After that, they obtained a Master of Science in Computing Science from Imperial College London in 2011. Marily then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science - Epidemiology, Online Virality from Imperial College London between 2012 and 2014. In 2016 and 2017, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Marily also has several certifications, including Storytelling and Influencing: Communicate with Impact from Macquarie University in 2019, Artificial Intelligence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017, Software Product Management from University of Alberta in 2017, and Machine Learning from Stanford University in 2014.
