Freddy L. Durán Martínez

Freddy L. Durán Martínez, PhD, currently serves as SAF Technology Advisor and Scientific Director at Elyse Energy since October 2020. Previous roles include Scientific Researcher at GRTgaz, where involvement in the Minerve Power-to-Gas project included developing a mathematical model for France's first operational PtG demonstrator, and Adjunct Professor at INSA Toulouse. Freddy's early career encompassed positions as a PhD candidate for Total's Hydromore Project, focusing on hydrogenation technologies, and various R&D Engineer roles at organizations such as IFP Energies nouvelles and École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille, with a focus on catalysis, materials, and energy. Academically, Freddy holds a PhD in Process and Environmental Engineering from INP Toulouse and an MSc in Catalysis & Chemical Process Technology from IFP School.
