Antti Aitio

Antti Aitio is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Chief Data Scientist at Elysia - Battery Intelligence from Fortescue since April 2023, Antti previously held the position of Principal Data Scientist for Advanced Battery Technologies at Fortescue Zero from October 2022 to February 2024. Antti's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, where research was conducted from September 2018 to October 2022, following a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the same institution between 2002 and 2006. Prior roles include Energy Modeling Analyst at Aurora Energy Research Ltd and Managing Partner at Dacharan Advisory AG, where Antti focused on systematic FX and equity market neutral strategies, in addition to work as a Quantitative Analyst at Shooter Fund Management LLP from 2005 to 2007.
