George Atef Messiha

George Atef Messiha has extensive work experience in information technology leadership roles. George is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Emaar Misr since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Digital Officer at Centro Global Solutions from April 2021 to February 2022.

George also held the position of Vice President Information Technology at Orascom Development Holding from December 2009 to April 2021. In this role, they managed a team of 75 professionals and was responsible for planning and managing operating budgets for IT projects.

Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Information Technology at Orascom Development Egypt from January 2004 to December 2009, where they established IT strategies and oversaw the implementation of various enterprise software solutions.

George started their career as an IT Manager at Orascom Trading from July 2001 to January 2004, where they managed a team and handled business systems development.

George Atef Messiha obtained their MBA degree in Management of Information Technology from The American University in Cairo between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, from 1996 to 2001. It is also known that George attended Collège De La Salle, although the specific dates and degree earned are not provided.
