Life Mahlaule currently serves as the Assistant Manager for Environmental Management & Compliance at Emalahleni Local Municipality since December 2019. Prior to this role, Life held several positions at the Department of Environmental Affairs from October 2015 to December 2019, including Control Environmental Officer Grade A and Assistant Director. Life's career began at the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) from April 2010 to January 2012 as a Biodiversity Advisor, focusing on integrating biodiversity into planning through capacity building, technical support, and raising awareness about conservation tools.
