Gautam Gupta

Gautam Gupta has a strong and diverse work experience in the areas of trade marketing, sales development, and sales IT. Gautam is currently working as the Head of Trade Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales IT at Emami Ltd since August 2021. Prior to this, Gautam served as the National Route To Market Manager at Cargill from July 2020 to August 2021. Gautam also held the position of General Manager-Sales Development and Trade Marketing - East and Zonal Sales Manager at Godrej Consumer Products Limited from September 2017 to June 2020. Gautam has also worked at Metro Cash & Carry India Private Limited, where they served as the Senior General Manager-Regional Sales Manager & Customer Marketing and later as the General Manager-TGM: National Sales & Customer Marketing Manager. Gautam started their career at Unilever, where they held various roles such as Project Manager-Route to Market and Mobility, South East Asia; Capability Building Manager-Route to Market-Russia, Ukraine, Belarus; National Channel Manager-Wholesale & Rural; and Area Sales and Customer Manager in different regions. Gautam also had a summer MBA internship at Axis Bank, where they worked in the Credit & Risk department.

Gautam Gupta has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing & Finance from the Goa Institute of Management (GIM), which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Marketing & Human Resource Management from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, during the period of 2001 to 2004. Alongside their formal education, Gautam has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as aligning sales and marketing, building and managing a high-performing sales team, sales strategies and approaches in a new world of selling, and closing strategies, all in the year 2022.
