Wael Aboulmagd currently serves as the Ambassador of the Embassy of Egypt since November 2019. Prior to this role, Wael held the position of Director for Environmental Affairs and Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from September 2016 to November 2019. Wael also previously served as Ambassador at the Embassy of Egypt from September 2010 to September 2014 and as Deputy Assistant Minister for Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 2007 to September 2010. Wael Aboulmagd earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law from the University of London in 1989.
