Dave Jones

Dave Jones serves as the Global Insights Programme Director at Ember, working with data and ideas to showcase the rapid energy transition happening globally. Prior to this role, Dave held the position of Global Project Lead at Ember, expanding the organization's coal-to-clean electricity data and policy work into Asia and beyond. Before joining Ember, Dave worked as a Europe coal phaseout analyst at Sandbag Climate Campaign, where Dave aimed to accelerate Europe's transition away from coal. With previous experience at E.ON Global Commodities in various roles, Dave specializes in hedging, market analysis, and portfolio analysis for energy portfolios. Dave holds a degree in Business and Economics from The University of Sheffield.
