Fazil Zafar

Fazil Zafar has a diverse background in various roles and industries. Fazil began their career as a Business Analyst at CIGNA Healthcare in 2001, where they focused on analytical problem solving and acted as a liaison between TPAs and clients. In 2005, they joined 5th Element Marketing Inc as Vice President and Director of Business Intelligence, where they gathered business requirements and developed web-based solutions. From 2006 to 2010, Fazil worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at SMSB Consulting Group, creating various documentation and presentations for senior management and clients. Fazil then joined EmblemHealth in 2010 as the Lead Quality Analyst, specializing in data management, analysis, and reporting. Additionally, Fazil owned and served as the lead instructor at Long Island Kung Fu Academy: Hoi Fa Siu Lum since 2007.

Fazil Zafar earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Old Westbury from 1997 to 2000. Fazil then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from the New York Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Certified Cisco Network Associate, Certified Novell Administrators, MCP, MCP+I, MCSE, and various Microsoft certifications related to NT Server, NT Workstation, Internet Information Server, and TCP/IP. Fazil also completed SAS Programming 1 & SAS Programming 2 courses.
