Molly Marino

Director of Measurement at Embold Health

Molly Marino has a long history of work experience in various roles. In 2020, they became the Director of Measurement at Embold Health and a Senior Measurement Analyst. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Research Public Health Analyst II at RTI International, where they developed, evaluated, refined, and maintained quality measures for a variety of settings, supported the implementation of and conducted research on Medicare programs, and conducted analysis of Medicare claims data. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Research Center Manager at Boston University School of Public Health, where they served as a research assistant on several federally-funded research projects, wrote grants and research proposals, developed study design, collected and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data, managed research and administrative activities for NIH R24 Research Infrastructure Centers, and directed, collaborated with, and ensured PIs and visiting scientists met annual review, manuscript and grant-related deadlines. In 2015, they were an Adjunct Professor at Rhode Island College. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Lab Teacher at CARF International, where they facilitated in Lab components for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) annual summer conference. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Director of Home Services at New York Families for Autistic Children, where they supervised over seventy direct care employees' clinical and administrative tasks, placed direct care employees with individuals to work in the home to provide a one-on-one service, developed behavior plans for individuals, monitored and reevaluated individuals' progress on a monthly basis, and maintained compliance with the standards and regulations of the New York Office for Persons with Development Disabilities (OPWDD). From 2007 to 2009, they were a Board of Directors at Planned Parenthood of Southern Finger Lakes.

Molly Marino attended Cornell University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a BS in Biology & Society. Molly then attended Boston University from 2011 to 2013, earning an MPH in Health Policy & Management. Finally, they attended Boston University again from 2013 to 2017, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Services Research.
