Vasuki Prasad

Vasuki Prasad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Vasuki started their career as an intern at PT. (Persero) Angkasa Pura I, where they gained experience working on airport facilities. Vasuki then interned at Batavia Training Centre, where they focused on full flight simulators and systems.

Prasad then joined Jet Airways as an intern in the maintenance department, where they observed aircraft maintenance practices. Vasuki later joined Honeywell Aerospace as a design engineer, working on aerospace exterior lighting products and holding two US patents. Vasuki also worked as a generic jet aircraft flight simulator instructor and integrator for Honeywell Aerospace.

Prasad continued their career as the director of Command Sims Pvt. Ltd, a startup specializing in designing, manufacturing, selling, and servicing aircraft flight simulators. Vasuki then worked as an independent consultant for FLYeasy India, providing expertise in marketing, communications, and branding.

Prasad joined The Flying Engineer as an analyst and editor, analyzing airline performance and conducting in-depth studies on aircraft. Vasuki then joined Vistara - TATA SIA Airlines Ltd. as the manager of commercial planning and analysis, responsible for analyzing processes, forecasting, competitor benchmarking, and interdepartmental involvement.

Currently, Prasad is working at Embraer as the sales director for South Asia & Indonesia, leading campaigns and securing new aircraft sales. Vasuki previously held roles at Embraer as an airline marketing manager and airline market specialist.

Throughout their career, Prasad has demonstrated a strong focus on the aviation industry, with experience in sales, marketing, analysis, and simulation.

Vasuki Prasad completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Aerospace and Aviation from TBS Education from 2015 to 2017. In the same time period, Vasuki also completed a General Management Programme for Aerospace and Aviation Executives from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Prior to that, Vasuki obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2009, with a focus on Electronics and Communication. Vasuki completed the Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE), specializing in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science, from CMR National Public School in Bangalore from 2003 to 2005.
