Luciana Regitano

Luciana Regitano is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in genetics and molecular biology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Graduate Program on Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Federal University of São Carlos since March 1998, Luciana also holds a position as a researcher in livestock genomics at Embrapa since December 1994. Additionally, Luciana is involved in the Graduate Program in Genetics and Evolution at UFSCar. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics and Breeding and a Master’s degree in Genetics and Breeding, both obtained from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
