Michael Suh

Michael Suh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Michael is currently the Head of Software Engineering at Embross since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Manager of Software Engineering at OpenText from 2021 to 2023. Michael also has experience at Embross as a Software Development Manager, Project Delivery from 2019 to 2020, Team Lead, Software Development from 2017 to 2019, Technical Project Manager from 2016 to 2017, and Software Developer from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they worked at IBM as a Support Product Manager / Proven Practice Advisor from 2015 to 2016, Business Consultant from 2014 to 2015, and Technical Support Analyst / Team Captain from 2013 to 2014. Michael also worked at Varicent, an IBM Company as a Technical Support Analyst from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they have experience as the Founder, Project Manager & Chief Engineer at GroundZero Team in 2012, Agile Engineer at Xtreme Labs Inc. from 2012 to 2012, and I/T Specialist (Intern) at IBM in 2010. Michael started their career at Research In Motion as a Software Tools Developer (Intern) from 2008 to 2008 and DSP Firmware Developer (Intern) from 2008 to 2008. Michael also worked as a Data Programming Assistant (Intern) at HP in 2007.

Michael Suh attended the University of Waterloo from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a focus on Honours Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they also acquired two additional certifications: Cognos ICM Certified Specialist from IBM in February 2013, and Varicent Certified Specialist from Varicent, an IBM Company, in September 2012.
