Tej Dhawan

Tej Dhawan is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in investment and organizational leadership. As the Managing Director and Co-founder of Plains Angels since May 2012, Tej has been instrumental in supporting early-stage companies across various sectors, including Ag-tech and Bio-tech. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for EMC Insurance Companies and as Managing Partner at Mango Seed Investments, Tej focuses on impactful investments through active participation. Additionally, leadership roles include Chair of the Board of Trustees at Central College and Board Member positions for Ballet Des Moines and the American Heart Association - Central Iowa. With a strong educational background, including a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Central College and participation in the MIT REAP Global Program, Tej's diverse expertise encompasses technology, finance, and community engagement.
