Matthew Pierce

Vice President, Safety, Quality And Productivity at EMCOR Group

Matthew Pierce has extensive work experience in the field of productivity, quality management, and safety. Matthew started their career at Wasatch Electric, A Div. of Dynalectric, An EMCOR Company, where they held various accounting, operations, procurement, and quality roles from October 1996 to May 2001. Matthew then joined EMCOR Facilities Services as the Director of Quality Management from May 2001 to April 2003, where they implemented and maintained ISO 9001 registered management systems across various companies. Matthew then transitioned to EMCOR Group, Inc., taking on the role of Director, Productivity & Quality Management; Safety Director from April 2003 to December 2016. In this role, they provided productivity, quality, and safety improvement leadership to EMCOR's decentralized operating companies worldwide. Matthew also developed strategic partnerships and led a comprehensive communication program. From September 2008 to October 2019, Matthew served as an Adjunct Faculty at the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), focusing on management education. In January 2017, they were promoted to Vice President, Safety, Quality, and Productivity at EMCOR Group, Inc., where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Matthew Pierce has a MBA in Management from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Matthew also has a BA in International Business from Westminster University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, they hold certifications as an OSHA 500 (General Industry) Outreach Instructor from the US Department of Labor, obtained in April 2014, and as an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence from the American Society of Quality, obtained in December 2003.
