Hamid Rezaie

Hamid Rezaie has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hamid'smost recent role is serving as the Director of Information Technology at Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as an Information System Manager, responsible for supervising and coordinating information system staff members, performing database design and development, and documenting procedures. Hamid also served as the Computing Infrastructure Support Manager at the same company, where they maintained the computing infrastructure and supported major applications. Before joining Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, Hamid worked as a Watch Operator at STRATASCORP and TEKsystems, where they provided communication guard support for Military Sealift Command ships worldwide and performed troubleshooting on legacy systems. Hamid began their career as an Information Technology Specialist in the US Army, where they supervised the deployment, installation, and maintenance of information processing systems and performed information assurance functions.

Hamid Rezaie has a Certificate in Information Technology from the Fort Gordon Signal School, obtained in 2015. Hamid also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global, earned from 2013 to 2017. Hamid has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies from Pensacola State College, completed by 2007. Hamid is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University, with an expected completion year of 2021.
