Jennifer Kovacs Silvis has a diverse work experience in the media and publishing industry. Jennifer started their career as an Editorial Intern at Lebhar-Friedman in 2002. Jennifer then worked as a Reporter at Tribune Chronicle from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2009, Jennifer served as a Senior Editor at Questex Media Group. Jennifer subsequently joined October Research Corporation as an Editor for The Title Report from 2009 to 2010. Jennifer then moved to Vendome Group, where they held various roles including Managing Editor for Healthcare Design and Environments for Aging from 2010 to 2014. Jennifer also served as the Editor-in-Chief for Healthcare Building Ideas from 2011 to 2012. In 2014, Jennifer joined Emerald as Brand Director, overseeing content creation, delivery, and marketing for Healthcare Design and Environments for Aging brands. Jennifer held other positions within Emerald, including Executive Editor and Editor-in-Chief for Healthcare Design and Environments for Aging from 2014 to 2016 and 2016 to 2022, respectively. Currently, they are working as the Content Director at Emerald, responsible for managing content across various channels and serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Design and Environments for Aging magazines.
Jennifer Kovacs Silvis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Magazine Journalism from Kent State University, completing their studies between 1998 and 2003.
