Cynthia Ortiz has over 19 years of work experience. Cynthia began their career in 2002 as a Notary Public. In 2005, they became a Realtor & Loan Officer for Network Realty & Mortgage. In 2007, they took on the role of Director of Communications for HUYA Bioscience International. In 2009, they became an IT Manager for KUITY Corp. and a Personal Assistant for EJT Holdings. In 2014, they were an IT Manager for Posiba. In 2016, they were a Senior Manager, IT for OncoSec. From 2018 to 2021, they were the Director, Information Technology for Emerald Health Sciences Inc., Skye Bioscience Inc., and Emerald Health Pharmaceuticals.

Cynthia Ortiz began their educational journey at Mt. Miguel from 1993 to 1996. Cynthia then continued their studies at Southwestern College, where they are currently enrolled in General Studies.
