Lori Berhent has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, starting their career in 1987 at the Toledo Hilton at the MCO. Lori then worked their way up through various roles at the Cleveland Marriott East and the Sheraton Cleveland City Centre Hotel, eventually becoming a Senior Sales Manager and Director of Catering & Convention Services. In 2005, they joined Marriott International as a Regional Sales Manager and later became the General Manager at the Courtyard Marriott Independence. In 2007, they joined Emerald Hospitality Associates as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, where they supported Hilton and Marriott branded properties and built relationships with national organizations. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President of Revenue Generation & Business Development, overseeing revenue management, sales, and eCommerce efforts for Emerald managed hotels.
Lori Berhent began their education in 1980 at Notre Dame Academy, where they completed their high school education. From 1984 to 1988, they attended Bowling Green State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business/Corporate Communications.
