Philipp Hasler

Philipp Hasler is an accomplished investment director at Emerald Technology Ventures since November 2001, specializing in energy and advanced materials, and leading due diligence and investment processes while supporting portfolio companies in strategic areas. Hasler serves as a jury member for Venture Kick since January 2014 and previously worked as an investment director at SAM Sustainable Asset Management from 2000 to 2006, focusing on Cleantech. Additionally, Hasler has extensive experience in project management in biomass combustion and gasification at Verenum (1992-2001) and in fuel cell research at ETH Zurich (1987-1991). Philipp Hasler earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from ETH Zürich in 1986.
