Tobias Schmid

Tobias Schmid is a Senior Analyst at Emerald Technology Ventures since September 2022, focusing on sustainable industrial technologies, with involvement in Series A deals for companies such as Hiboo, SeaMachines, and TinyMobileRobots. Currently serving as a Cleantech Specialist at Technologiefonds since February 2024, Tobias previously held roles as a Working Student at TRUMPF, where an integrated financial model for investment analysis was developed, and as an Audit & Assurance Intern at PwC Deutschland during a private equity delisting. Early experience includes serving as a Student Teaching Assistant in Microeconomics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and as a Client Advisor at Capita Europe. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, complemented by a visiting student experience at Technion and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
