Newton Asare

Newton Asare is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Emerge and holds the title of Committee Chair and Committee Member at Canadian Blockchain Consortium. Previously, Newton was the Blockchain and Digital Assets Lead at Scotiabank, the Co-founding Partner at DMZ, and the Managing Director at Dream Maker Ventures. Newton also served on the Board of Directors and was the Co-Founder & CEO of ClientDesk Inc. In addition, Newton was an alumnus of various tech and entrepreneurship programs, including Plug and Play Tech Center, Ryerson Futures Inc., and The DMZ. Their educational background includes a Certificate in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
