Ashley Long

Ashley Long is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in college partnerships and access initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of College Partnerships and Director of Access Initiatives at EMERGE since August 2021, Ashley has a strong foundation in program management and curriculum development. Previous roles include Manager of Summer College Tours at EMERGE Fellowship and Site Coordinator for the 21st Century Texas ACE Program at YES Prep Public Schools, where operations and systems were established for over 130 at-risk students. A former Science Content Leader and instructor at YES Prep, Ashley was instrumental in developing district-wide assessments and fostering student engagement. Earlier experience includes roles as a Corps Member Advisor and Science Instructor with Teach For America, focusing on effective teaching strategies and creating an engaging classroom environment. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University.
