Laura Duke

Laura Duke is a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in both emergency and primary care settings. Currently serving at Emergency Medicine Associates, P.A., P.C. since January 2016, Laura manages pediatric patients in the emergency department and provides overnight care for admitted patients. Prior to this role, Laura worked at Noah's Ark Pediatrics, where responsibilities included health maintenance and managing acute illnesses for patients aged newborn to twenty-one. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Registered Nurse at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, where care was provided across various pediatric units, and as a Laboratory Technician at Virginia Commonwealth University, focusing on research related to neurodegenerative diseases. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Tech.
