Nancy Magee has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Nancy started their career in 1989 as the Operations Director for the restaurant division at NH 95 EAST INC, where they worked until 2001. In 2000, they became a Volunteer EMT at the Durham Volunteer Ambulance Company, a role they held until 2009. During this time, from 2009 to 2011, Nancy also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Emergency Resource Management. In 2009, they joined Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service, Inc. as a Volunteer EMT and remained there until 2012. Nancy then advanced to the position of Field Service Supervisor at Emergency Resource Management, where they started in 2011. Finally, in 2012, they became the Director of Marketing and Client Relations at Emergency Resource Management, a position they currently hold. In their current role, Nancy is responsible for increasing the client base of volunteer ambulance services in need of supplemental staffing. Nancy ensures that well-qualified, caring, and reliable EMTs are provided 24/7/365 to address the shortage of volunteers. Nancy is also involved in providing EVOC and continuing education to the staff, the majority of whom are volunteer EMTs and firefighters in their hometowns.
Nancy Magee attended Central Catholic High School from 1973 to 1977. Nancy did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. After high school, they went on to attend SOUTHERN CT STATE COLLEGE for an unknown duration. At this institution, Nancy focused on English and Journalism. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a PHTLS Instructor from NAEMT in August 2013.
