Elizabeth Sullivan

Elizabeth Sullivan has extensive work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Elizabeth is currently the Vice President of Quality and Compliance Operations and Strategy at Emergent BioSolutions since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2010 to 2022, holding positions such as Head of Operational Excellence, Executive Director of Quality Business Operations & Strategic Ventures, Senior Director of Quality, Strategy and Operations, Senior Director of R&D Operations, Senior Director of Global Operations Management and Corporate Project Management Office, and Director/Associate Director of Global R&D Project Management. Before joining Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., they worked as a Clinical Research Scientist at Vion Pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2010, and as a Senior Investigator II in the Department of Cancer Biology at Bayer from 2003 to 2007.

Elizabeth Sullivan has a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Northeastern University. Elizabeth also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Assumption University. In addition, they hold an ANCC Certificate in Clinical Research Monitoring and Coordination from the University of Delaware. Elizabeth has recently obtained a certification in "Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking" from LinkedIn.
