Dave Beshears

David Beshears is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in high-tech measurement solutions and national security activities. Currently serving as President at Emerging Measurements Corporation since November 2011, David focuses on laser-induced fiber optic diagnostics and thermographic phosphor thermometry. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager/Senior Research Scientist at UT-Battelle/Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where David led numerous national security projects and the weigh-in-motion program for the US Army G4 and the US Transportation Command. David also held positions at Lockheed Martin Energy Research, directing weigh-in-motion programs and developing systems for measuring surface temperatures in steel processing. Early career roles included directing advanced gas centrifuge testing at Lockheed Martin and serving as a Development Engineer at Union Carbide Corporation's Nuclear Division. David holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University with a GPA of 3.7/4.0.
