Brenda Salas-Mendoza

Brenda Salas is an experienced operations and project management professional currently serving as Operations Coordinator, Office Coordinator, and Facilities Specialist at Emerson Collective since July 2020. As a Co-Founder of Project K, Brenda empowers youth in East Palo Alto to pursue education and career paths aligned with their values through mentorship. Previous experience includes serving as Campaign Manager for Juan Mendez for City Council, Administrative Assistant and Social Media Specialist at UC Merced's CARE Office, and Director of Research and Development at RISE CA, where involvement included the creation of the VoteCrew platform. Brenda's earlier role as File Clerk at Gilfix & La Poll Associates and Boutique Assistant Intern at Cartier further showcases a diverse skill set across various domains. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Merced, and completed high school at Saint Francis High School.
