Sean Welch

Sean Welch is a Principal Approvals Engineer at Emerson Process Management since December 2014, specializing in obtaining standard approvals for hazardous locations related to product lines. Responsibilities include creating test plans to ensure compliance with global standards and regulations. Prior to this role, Sean spent eight years at UL, progressing from Associate Project Engineer to Project Engineer, managing projects across various engineering fields and focusing on multiple standards related to IT and medical equipment. Sean's early career included working as Grounds Manager at Town & Country Club, overseeing maintenance projects. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota, obtained in 2006.
