Lewis Day

Lewis Day began their work experience in 2013 as a Military Policeman in the Australian Army. Lewis transitioned to the role of UAV Operator in January 2018 and served in this position until April 2021. In February 2019, Lewis joined the Army Drone Racing Team. Lewis then joined Emesent in March 2022, where they currently work as a Test Pilot Engineer.

Lewis Day earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Charles Sturt University, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they obtained the following certifications: Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in July 2020, Certificate 3 in Aviation from Aviation Australia in July 2020, and Remote Pilot certification from Aviation Australia in July 2020. Lewis also pursued a Certified Laser Safety Officer (CLSO) Level 2 certification from UNSW, but the exact month and year of completion are not provided.
